Intended Use

Test Principle
SARS-CoV-2 Neutralizing antibody Test Kit (Lateral chromatography) is a qualitatively membrane-based immunoassay for the detection of SARS-CoV-2 RBD antibodies in serum, plasma and whole blood. The sample is dropped into the sample well and the sample dilution buffer is added subsequently. The SARS-CoV-2 RBD antibodies in the sample combine with the particle-labeled RBD protein and form immune complexes. As the complex migrate on the nitrocellulose membrane by capillary action, RBD antibodies can be captured by another RBD protein coated on the test area (T line), forming a signal line. The quality control area is coated with goat anti-chicken IgY, and the particlelabeled chicken IgY is captured to form a complex and aggregate in the C line. If the C line is not visible, it indicates that the result is invalid, and retest is needed.

Operation Flow
Step 1: Sampling
Collect human Serum/Plasma/Whole blood properly.
Step 2: Testing
1. Open the inspection card aluminum foil bag. Remove the test card and place it horizontally on a table.
2. Use a disposable pipette, transfer 10µL serum /or 10µL plasma/ or 20µL whole blood into the sample well on the test cassette.
3. Open the buffer tube by twisting off the top. Hold the buffer bottle vertically and 1 cm above the buffer well. Add three drops (about 100 µL) of the buffer into buffer well on the test cassette.
Step 3: Reading
10 mins later, read the results visually. (Note: do NOT read the results after 15 mins!)
Result Interpretation
Positive Result
If both the quality control C line and the detection T line appear, it means that the SARS-CoV-2 neutralizing antibodies has been detected, and the result is positive for neutralizing antibodies.
Negative Result
If only the quality control C line appears and the detection T line does not show color, it means that the SARS-CoV-2 neutralizing antibodies has not been detected and the result is negative.
Invalid Result
If the quality control C line cannot be observed, the result is invalid regardless of whether there is a detection line display, and the test should be repeated.
